Alessandro Biancalani graduated in physics from Scuola?Normale Superiore in Pise (Italy) in 2005, then did a PhD?with?Prof. Francesco Pegoraro, Prof. Fulvio Zonca and Prof. Liu?Chen as advisors, at University of Pise, in collaboration with?University of California of Irvine (USA) and ENEA-Frascati (Italy).?He has been at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in?Garching (Germany) from 2009 to 2021, then he became a?professor at the Engineering School Leonard de Vinci in Paris(France), where he has the role of co-head of a research axis on?Complex Systems, Risks, Data Science a Digital Transformation.
